10 facts/Methods on how to lose weight

Listed below are things to keep in mind for losing weight. It would be best to always read the labels of what you eat and visit websites that provide the calorie amounts of foods where you eat at. keep a good check on how many calories you take in and eliminate. Keeping a journal is a great idea.


1-Fact is there are about 3500 calories in a pound. A good idea would be to watch the amount of calories you consume on a day to day basis



2-Fact is so many things are very tempting to eat that are bad for your calorie intake. It’s best to be sure to cut your calorie intake some even if it’s as little as 250 to 300 calories per day.



3-Fact is even when you’re cutting down on calorie intake, it doesn’t mean your near being out of the woods. It’s best to exercise some each day. Walking 15 minutes a day is a great idea. If you have a treadmill that has how many calories you burn on it while walking you should try burning at least 250 calories. If you have the treadmill and have tallied up the time that it took you to burn the calories that you burned but would much rather walk outside in a designated area to change scenery you could go different places to walk. But remember to walk at the same pace for the same amount of time that you did on the treadmill.



4-Fact is eating fast can be a disaster. Did you know that when you eat fast you may be taking in more calories than your body can burn creating fat. Try eating slower from now on.



5-Fact is losing weight quickly may not be what you really want. I have researched and found out that losing weight quickly could be that your losing muscle as well. I have read that it is for the best to try and lose only a couple of pounds per week. This also makes your goal to lose weight easier on you because trying to lose all the weight at once may cause you to push to hard and could cause other problems.



6. Fact is muscle tissue is critical for weight loss. Now this goes along well with number 5 and here’s how it works. When you lose weight quickly you may be losing muscle, this decreases your metabolism because muscle tissue is of major importance to high metabolism. A high metabolism is what you want in order to lose weight and possibly keep it off in the future.



7. Fact is weight can always come back. It’s best to always keep this in mind.



8. Fact is walking is great for you. If you have more time to designate for walking I have researched that walking an hour a day would be a great idea. It’s said that the whole hour would be great but it isn’t required for great results. You could walk 4 times a day 15 minutes for each walk. That way it would not only equal out that hour but it could fit in with your schedule if needed.



9. Fact is stress can cause weight gain. How? I’m sure your asking that question right about now. Stress can trigger some people to eat more which increases your calorie intake. Always remember that there are methods to help you cope with stress.



10. Fact is sleeping is a must. Sleep is responsible for making repairs to your body that are much needed. Researchers say that people who sleep less than 7 hours a night are more likely to be overweight or obese. Sleep is of major importance for your weight loss. It’s also very important for your overall health in more ways than one.
